UNOLD Guarantee Terms and Conditions

Depending on the model, we provide a guarantee of up to 10 years on our products (see the relevant product page) – 12 months in the case of commercial use – from the date of purchase, covering damage which, when the product is used as intended, can be demonstrably attributed to manufacturing defects.

During the guarantee period, we will remedy defects in materials and workmanship, at our discretion, by repairing or replacing the product. Our guarantee services apply exclusively to appliances sold in Germany and Austria. For other countries, please contact the responsible importer.

Appliances for which a remedy of defects is claimed must be sent, securely packaged, to our Customer Service department together with a copy of the machine-generated proof of purchase showing the date of purchase and a description of the defect. A return label can be printed from our website at https://unold.de/pages/rucksendungen (only for returns from Germany and Austria).

The guarantee does not cover damage caused by wear and tear, improper handling, or failure to comply with the maintenance and care instructions. Any entitlement under the guarantee shall lapse if repairs or other interventions on the appliance are carried out by third parties.

This manufacturer’s guarantee does not restrict your statutory rights or any claims you may have against the seller or retailer under the purchase contract in accordance with the provisions of the German Civil Code (Bürgerliches Gesetzbuch – BGB). Your statutory rights as a consumer, in particular your statutory warranty rights and statutory claims in respect of defects pursuant to Sections 437 et seq. of the German Civil Code (BGB), remain unaffected.
